I am a game programmer whose been making games since 2019. I’m experienced with C++, C#, Unreal Engine, Unity, FMOD, and Wwise. While my main specialty is audio, I’ve gathered general experience across several game engineering disciplines, including gameplay, physics, UI, AI, networking, multi-threading, and graphics. I crave new things to learn and interesting problems to solve.
I’m also an accomplished composer, with several concert music works and soundtracks for shipped games. My greatest passion is designing, writing, and implementing adaptive music systems that score the desired emotional effect throughout gameplay, making players feel powerful, focused, or contemplative.
In my free time, I enjoy playing various musical instruments, including drum set, marimba, piano, and bass guitar. (Hoping to branch out to saxophone soon!) I also listen to a lot of music; right now I’m really into Haken’s Fauna and the new Gorillaz album The Mountain. I like games with strong mechanical hooks and impactful or interesting music. Some of my favorites of all time include Celeste, Outer Wilds, Xenoblade Chronicles 3, among others. (It’s hard to pick favorites!)
