About Me

I earned my Bachelor of Music in Music Composition from Southern Methodist University in 2019. I’m currently working to complete a Master in Interactive Technology studying Software Development by May 2026 from SMU Guildhall. I’m working hard so I can one day push interactive music to new horizons.

In addition to composition, I greatly enjoy playing music. My best instrument is drum set, but I have experience with orchestral percussion, drumline, piano, bass, and hammered dulcimer. Improvisation in particular has always spoken to me on a deep level. As such, jazz bands have always been my favorite groups to play with. Often, I feel as though I can convey emotions much easier through performance than words.

I also like to share my love for music by teaching. Since July 2023, I’ve worked with Rodman Steele Studios, teaching children and adults alike on topics including drum set, percussion, composition, and music theory.
